I know everyone says the first year goes by fast but seriously this past year went by light speed. It feels like just yesterday I was sending out birth announcements for the New Year and here I am celebrating Matthew turning 1. Time flies! (I know, another cliche) So, what does our traditional 1 year-old party bring - family, pizza, cake, ice cream and a fearless child. Within minutes of family arriving he showed off his mad skills of climbing by ascending the gifts on the table to the very top. This pleased him more than the handful of frosting he stuffed into his mouth later. He is letting us know once and for all that no one can keep him down - Mount Everest here he comes!
